Infuse your home with the quiet warmth of the Polanco Terracotta Vase, a handcrafted statement piece that brings soul to any space.

This 7" × 8" bulbous jug is hand-finished in a deep, weathered black, its surface alive with subtle texture, earthy variation, and the unmistakable character of true artisan craft. A looped side handle and raised pedestal base give it an ancient, almost archaeological presence, equally at home on a bookshelf, entryway console, or dining table.

No two pieces are alike. Each Polanco vase carries its own story, slight tonal shifts, natural imperfections, and a matte finish that deepens in different light. This is not mass-produced décor. It is an object with intention.

Minor variations in texture and tone are inherent to the handcrafted nature of this piece and are considered part of its character.

Material & Care

Material:

The Polanco Vase is crafted from terracotta, one of the oldest and most enduring materials in decorative art. Its naturally porous composition gives each piece its distinctive matte surface and subtle texture, while a hand-applied black finish adds depth and a quiet, elemental richness. The result is a piece that feels as honest as it looks, grounded, tactile, and built to last.

How to Care for your vase:

To preserve the finish and character of your Polanco Vase, wipe clean with a soft dry cloth. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight, as terracotta is a porous material and may be sensitive to water and fading over time. Not recommended for outdoor use. Handle with care, the aged, weathered surface is intentional and part of what makes each piece unique.

Where Ancient Form Meets Modern Living

Rooted in the tradition of hand-thrown pottery, the Polanco Terracotta Vase is more than an object, it's a presence. Its bulbous form, weathered matte-black finish, and single looped handle speak to centuries of craft, reinterpreted for the contemporary home. The raised pedestal base grounds it with quiet authority, while the open top invites dried botanicals, sculptural branches, or simply the beauty of negative space.

Each piece is individually hand-finished, meaning no two are exactly alike. Subtle shifts in tone, natural surface variation, and the faint memory of the maker's hand are not imperfections, they are the point. Place it on an entryway console, a dining table, or a bedroom shelf, and it will hold its own against any backdrop, in any light.

This is not décor that shouts. It's the kind of piece that makes a room feel considered.
